    Untitled design (19)

Mother's day is not too far, and you are surely not going to disappoint your mom by not throwing a tiny, cozy party at your home (private party, just you, dad, and mom); will you? Or else, maybe you could take your sweetheart mother for a movie, and then to a restaurant to spend some quality time. But, whichever place you have chosen to make her feel special on Mother's day, make sure you dress her up in the best way possible.

Apart from throwing a party, you can also gift her a pretty attire, which she can don on Mother's day and spend some quality time with you. Not sure how to dress her up; or which attire to gift her on this Mother's day? That's not a big problem, after all, Simaaya fashions is there to rescue you from such a complicated dilemma of picking the right attire for your mom. Simaaya Online store has a huge collection of ethnic and indo-western, so you will literally be spoilt for choice.

Here are certain attires that you can gift your mom, and dress her up like a youthful and elegant lady on mother's day:

Make her wear a comfy printed saree

1 (4) The scorching summer has arrived with a bang, and there is hardly any woman who likes to wear sarees in this clumsy season; yet, a light, printed saree can sometimes be of great help! Printed chiffon sarees can be a woman's best wear during summer, especially if there's a cheerful occasion, for instance like mother's day. So, gift your mom a pretty floral print saree or a block printed saree on Mother's day, and ask her to don it before you both party together.

Why don't you gift her palazzo suits?

If your mother is someone who likes to try out different styles and attires, then just gift her a gorgeous palazzo suit. Palazzos have been tagged as the "summer cool" bottom wear, so just imagine how wonderful a palazzo suit would look on her! Just don't ponder so much, buy your mom a palazzo suit, and ask her to glam up on mother's day.

A-line suits would enhance her beauty quotient

A-line churidar suits are something that any woman can wear, despite their age. So, if your mom likes wearing salwar suits, then you can definitely gift her a sober A-line churidar suit, and ask her to wear it as a 'mother's day special attire'.

    Is she an indo-western freak?

    1 (2)

If you mommy dear is an admirer of indo-western clothing, gift her embroidered tunics. Tunics are a very versatile indo-western wear, and can be teamed up with many bottom wear. So, just gift her a tunic and let her pair it with whichever bottom-wear she's comfortable in.

So, these were the four ways in which you can help your mom dress up beautifully on this mother's day. What are you waiting for? Gift her any of the above-mentioned attire, and help her doll up on this important day.

Indian summers are tormenting, and it's not just about the hot sun. When it is dry, there are hot winds to deal with, not to mention sweat and bad air quality outside. Even when it rains occasionally, high humidity makes it unbearable. When the winds blow hot and harsh and its highly humid out, it is important to dress as coolly and comfortably as possible. The trick is to distract yourself away from the summer climate and choose loose clothing, skin-friendly fabrics that breathe in prints and colours that make you happy at home, at work and parties. Here we have suggested a few palazzo suit styles which have taken  stores by storm, for summer wear.

    Palazzo With Long Kurtas

It's not only the ramp models anymore, everyone is wearing them these days. Try on a style that suits your body type.

simaaya-suit-1 If you are tall or of medium height but apple shaped try to go with narrower cuts, save the flared styles for skinny folks. Both straight-cuts and wide-legged palazzos work well with long kurtas. Our very own B-town celebs have sported this look time and again, proving they are trendy, chic and here to stay a while.

    Palazzo With Long Kurtis

Indo-western influence has made a big splash in India, and the Palazzo salwar suit has felt this change more than the traditional salwar suit. These long kurti style palazzos are great party wear salwar suits in summer with a smart look.

    Palazzo With Tops

Bollywood celebrities assume the palazzo's cool look for summer with panache. Take these style tips from our B-town divas at your next tea party with friends or a trip to the mall with your Mother In Law.

The Palazzo effect has naturally made its way into fusion wear. It is ideal to team a palazzo bottom with a floral printed top, sleeveless and asymmetrical tops, embroidered kurti or printed silk Indo-Western style.

If you're excited about a coffee date with your beau and want to dress to impress with a trendy look, try flaunting prints. Wear the outfit with lots of confidence and it will be a surefire way to look sassy.

    Palazzos With Capes

You would normally wear skinny jeans or a dress to make a style statement with a cape, but experiment these with palazzos. Turn heads at your next party with a more Indo-Western look, by teaming your palazzo pants with a cape-style top.

    Palazzos The Monochromatic Way

Going monochromatic is a haute way to make an impression. When you are out with your mother in law and don’t want to attract too much attention, go with a well-balanced look that still looks striking, such as this black and white pure cotton palazzo suit online from Simaaya Fashions online store.

Salwar kameez styles can vary not only in kameez designs due to the lower half too. Churidars, palazzos, straight-cuts, wide-legged pajamas, patiala are among the many options out there.

History and Origin of the Patiala Salwar

It is believed that the Persians and Turks were the ones who first wore these loose trousers. These pants heralded what we know is the modern day salwar, (also known as shalwar). Understandably, it was the Mughals that brought this style to India, until the salwar kameez stood for Punjabi fashion, and they are still called 'Punjabi Suits'.

    Chic Comfort!

Patialas are not only traditional outfits but have a cool comfort quotient that makes them high in demand, especially in hot and humid climates. Unlike the churidar which is tight, the patiala is totally the opposite - wide and baggy around the legs and tapered at the ankle. Today, the loosely fitted patiala suit comes in many beautiful and rich designs and colours suited for every type of woman.

The Patiala salwar originated in Punjab, and it is a fusion of Indian and Persian design. Its voluminous cut with pleats makes this salwar combined with a short kurti or long kurta the perfect everyday summer outfit as well as for special and formal occasions.

The top half, also known as the kameez (kurta or kurti), comes plain or in an abundance of cuts with varying neck styles from V-shaped, Chinese collared, high-necked, to frock and Anarkali styles with zari embroidery, lace, mirror work or Gota patti.

    Fabric Wise

Pure georgette, cotton are the most popular fabrics used to make patiala salwar kameez, which are great for everyday use, festivals and Bollywood parties. There is a whole host of choices when it comes to silk kameez - most of them are made of dupion silk, satin silk, crepe silk and tussar silk.

Resham embroidery, mirror work, sequins to zardosi and block printing, all embellishments work well on Patiala Designer Suits. In fact, it's all the rage to have a pop of colourful prints or embroidery or mirror work on patialas, especially on the borders and even near the ankles.

    Afghani Suits

This style is very popular among young women and girls in summer time. Afghani style patiala suits tend to be more baggy, having more embroidery or prints along the leg or ankle.

The top or kurti is often sleeveless and much shorter than a traditional suit, always above the knee, giving a carefree, cute look.

    Parallel Salwar Suits

When the trousers are flared, or boot-cut, they're called parallel pant style and look similar to palazzo suits. Kurtas with parallel pants are usually knee length or longer and the dupatta is optional.

    Pathani Salwar Suits

As the name implies, this dress originated in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Pakistani or Pathani salwar cuts are usually worn by Muslim men in India, mainly in Jammu and Kashmir. Made of cotton, crepe and silk. North Indian men still wear pathani pants as wedding and festive wear.

On women the Pathani salwar looks bold, trendy and modern, especially in bright colours and if they are embroidered, such as these with Gota, it adds a touch of charming tradition.

    Sharara Salwar Suits

Sharara style salwars are wide-legged and when the kameez is long, the sharara looks like a skirt. They are fitted up to the knees and then flare out till, till they look billowy at the ankles. These styles are one of the latest Indian salwar suits fashion trends and are making waves on runways.

    Designer Patiala Styles

Leading Indian designers don't forget to include the versatile salwar kameez in their modern collections that mesmerize us every year. Manish Malhotra's  Threads of Emotion collection was a tribute to Punjabi Phulkari embroidery, where he blended contemporary and Indian silhouettes in a whole range of vibrant colourful palette in his suit styles.

Bollywood divas like Sonakshi Sinha and Kareena Kapoor are trendsetters for the patiala salwar in their designer wear. While promoting her new film, Tevar, Sonakshi wore a Payal Singhal outfit with a high low kurta and the yellow patiala salwar that suited her extremely well. Dhoti Pants

    dhoti-pants looksgud.in

Dhoti pants are the latest and perfect addition to the fashionista's closet. Dhoti style bottoms are aesthetically beautiful and inspired by another traditional menswear, the Dhoti. But unlike dhotis, they are pre-stitched, easy to manage, look trendy, worn casually and attract lots of attention! If you want to look really stand out with an Indo-Western look, team up modern dhoti pants with a crop top or a dressy white shirt.

    Accessorize It

Accessorizing the patiala salwar kameez has no rules whatsoever! Based on the occasion, go with real gold jewelry or costume jewelry. Ethnic bags and Indian footwear of all sorts work well with patiala suits. Besides juttis, flats, pumps and even gladiators and different western footwear all look great with it.
